Islam to the respond of Fitna

Develop in your heart the feeling of love for the people. As that the civilians are at two categories. They are either your brothers in religion or your brothers in kind.

Islam does not at all admit genocide to expand religion and explisitely rejects cornering people to accept it.
"There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path. Whoever disbelieves in Taghoot and believes in Allah, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower."
Quran surah 2 verse 256

Jihad in Islam is for self defence and repelling the transgression of seditious people.
"And fight in the Way of Allah those who fight you, but transgress not the limits. Truly, Allah likes not the transgressors."
Quran surah 2 verse 190 (This Verse is the first one that was revealed in connection with Jihad, but it was supplemented by another (V.9:36)).

"Verily, the number of months with Allah is twelve months (in a year), so was it ordained by Allah on the Day when He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are Sacred, (i.e. the 1st, the 7th, the 11th and the 12th months of the Islamic calendar). That is the right religion, so wrong not yourselves therein, and fight against the Mushrikoon (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) collectively, as they fight against you collectively. But know that Allah is with those who are Al-Muttaqoon"
